Impact Glutamine Nutritionally Complete Liquid Formula is specialized medical nutrition for surgical and trauma patients. Impact has a unique and patented formula that has been demonstrated in clinical trials to improve patient outcomes. In clinical trials, patients who received an Impact formula developed fewer infections and had shorter hospital stays than those patients fed standard enteral formulas. Impact Glutamine is designed for patients with GI impairment and high energy needs. In addition to supplemental levels of glutamine, it contains a unique blend of soluble and insoluble fibers. The formula also features NutriShield® - a proprietary combination of microbial inhibitors that protects from harmful bacteria, especially in open system. Sold in cases of 24 - 250mL cans, or 6 - 1,000mL containers. Not for individuals with galactosemia.
