Managing the compliance is easily accomplished by the therapist with the newest additions Respironics has introduced to the 60-Series units. Your clinician can make more tailored adjustments to ensure the best possible IPAP and EPAP are dispensed during therapy with the new PSmin feature. By adjusting the PSmin feature the clinician can be sure the user receives compliant therapy that works.


The same great characteristics featured on 50-Series of REMstar units are still available along with updates and new technology. One of the most attractive new features is the heated tubing option which assists the already advanced humidity control system. The heated tube capability is an added trait that tackles the condensation a patient may experience due to environmental elements along with therapy pressure. With this addition, the user will have a major decline of water buildup in the tubing to virtually no buildup at all. The heated tubing is optional and only improves upon already comprehensive temperature management system built into the Respironics units.




With the Advanced Event Detection therapy management system, the user can rest peacefully knowing the unit is doing all the monitoring during therapy. Not only is the unit recording and saving data such as snoring, leaks, apneas, hyponeas, and so on, the unit is adjusting to the user needs as therapy patterns change. The unit will automatically react to events such as apneas or hyponeas by increasing or decreasing pressures adjusting to current requirements. Sleep therapy is administered based on clinical settings to make certain the patient receives the best possible sleep while in compliance. The user will not be alarmed by sudden pressure changes but will continue to rest while the unit provides optimal therapy.
