Stabilizes the Achilles The Ossur Rebound Air walker is the premier choice when it comes to an achilles tendon boot. If you suffer from achilles tendonitis or have recently had surgery to repair the achilles, then the rebound air walker from Ossur can assist with special technology that helps promote repair of the tendon through immobilization. Ossur has included a unified air bladder in this achilles brace that can be pumped up to a comfortable level. The bladder is in the shape of the tendon, and cradles it to gently immobilize it, preventing further injury.
Comfortable. Durable No shoes are required with this foot brace. It includes a rubber sole to allow you to walk around without damaging or dirtying the brace, and the brace is made from durable plastics that won't wear out quickly. This foot brace is also very comfortable, with a foam inner that wicks moisture away from the foot to prevent chafing and wetness, while also keeping the skin dry and comfortable. The straps on the front of the brace control tightness, and can be easily adjusted for quick application and removal of the brace.
This brace was designed to be used outside, and has an EVA material in the sole that provides excellent shock absorption to prevent pain and injury while walking. The sole is curved to allow for a more natural movement while walking. This foot brace also includes a technology that Ossur calls Flex Edge, which will conform to the foot anatomy of the individual wearing the achilles brace to help prevent pressure points and additional pain. The toe bumper is also fully trimmable and adjustable, allowing for a custom-fit without all the measurements.
