This Sensor Cushion Alarm alerts you as soon as a patient leaves the wheelchair. This alarm is sandwiched between 3" of fire-retardant cushioning foam. A holding bracket for the alarm box is included to keep it out of the patient's way. When a person sits on the cushion, the alarm is inactive. When a person's weight is lifted, the alarm sounds, letting you know that the person may need assistance. The alarm has an on/off switch and the volume can be set on soft, or loud.
