Description

Engineered with the bariatric individual in mind, this heavy duty drop seat allows users to remove their existing sling and lower their wheelchair's seat height to the level that suits them best. It's also designed to provide users with an increased level of durable, rigid support in their wheelchair.

The apparatus can be installed easily to any chair with a seat width of 22" to 24" and possesses a weight capacity of 400 lbs. Once the drop seat is secure, the device is covered with a seat cushion and is reinforced tightly with extra-strength cam buckles and locks to prevent tampering and/or accidental dislodging.

The device attaches with the greatest of ease, all in a matter of minutes. Once the existing sling seat is removed, the webbing straps should loop easily around both the seat frame and the main frame on each side of the wheelchair. Once the slide strap is fed securely through the cam lever, the lever should be depressed upward to facilitate the strap.

Once the desired seat height is achieved, the drop seat is tightly secured via a series of durable locks and buckles (as illustrated in the instructional link below).
